Best known in Australia as “Pink’s Guitarist”, there’s a lot more strings to Justin Derrico’s bow.
After graduating from the MI Institute of Music in Hollywood, Justin found himself touring with The Calling on the back of their huge top 10 US hit “Wherever you will go”.
After subsequent national tours with Robin Thicke and performances with Lil Wayne and Pharrell Williams, Justin was fast climbing the top of the session guitarist ranks. When Justin performed with Beyonce and Tina Turner at the 50th Anniversary of the Grammy Awards, he had reached the eyes of many of the biggest acts in the world including the award winning artist “Pink”. Justin would now be the permanent guitarist with the Pink band and go on to do five tour of duty world tours playing to millions of adoring Pink fans.
After the last world tour that included smashing stadium record attendances here in Australia, Pink decided to take a break and start a family which gave Justin the perfect opportunity while off the road to work on his debut solo album “Boldly Going Nowhere”. This album was produced by Corey Britz (Bush) and features some of America's finest musicians playing Justin’s original tunes. Players include Donald Barrett (Seal), Jeff Bowders (Paul Gilbert), Corey Britz, Pat Torpey (Mr Big), Bill Appleberry (The Wallflowers), Scotty Derrico and Nick Hughes.
Last December Justin toured with Enrique Iglesias, recently recorded with Puddle of Mudd and has just completed a stint on the new US hit show “America’s Voice”.
As of May 2011, Justin will be in the rehearsal room perfecting the live show for his upcoming Australian tour kicking off in August 2011.

"It's pretty different, it's all instrumental. Some of it is kinda shred stuff, y'know for the kids, and then there's some really cool vibey melodic stuff but it's pretty cool, it's a pretty awesome journey for myself."
